Connecting Google Calendar
How two-way sync works, what permissions it needs, and what to do if events stop syncing.
Connect Google Calendar from Settings → Integrations. Once connected, your Google events show up in Week alongside your Producky tasks and events.
One-way or two-way
By default, sync is one-way: your Google events flow into Producky. A separate 'push to Google' toggle in Settings also writes events you create in Producky back out to your Google Calendar — and once that's on, each new event gets its own "Sync with calendar" switch in case you want a one-off event to stay local.
Viewing a synced Google event
Tap a Google-sourced event in Week or Today to see its details — title, time, and location. These are read-only in Producky, since Google is the source of truth for them; edit them in Google Calendar and the change syncs back in.
Permissions
Producky requests calendar read/write access, not your full Google account, so it can read your events and, if you enable it, create or update them. This is a separate consent step from signing in with Google — most people never see the calendar permission screen unless they specifically connect it from Settings.
Disconnecting
Disconnect any time from Settings → Integrations. Your existing Producky tasks and events aren't affected — only the live sync stops.
