Shared Spaces: planning with family or friends

Create a Family or Friends space, invite people, and keep it separate from your Personal space.

Besides your Personal space, Producky supports Shared Spaces — a Family or Friends space with its own tasks, habits, areas, and calendar that everyone you invite can see and edit.

Creating a space

Create a space from the space switcher or Settings → Spaces, give it a name, and choose Family or Friends. Creating a non-Personal space requires the creator to be on Pro.

Once a Shared Space exists, everyone in it — including people on the Free plan — gets unlimited areas, tasks, and habits inside that space. The cap only applies to your own Personal space.

Inviting people

Invite by email. The person needs an existing Producky account at that address — Producky doesn't do live account lookup while you type (that would let anyone enumerate who else uses the app), so the check only happens once you send the invite.

Invites show up as a notification for the recipient, who can accept or decline. You'll get a notification back either way.

Roles

Space members are either an owner or a member. The owner is whoever created the space, and their Pro subscription is what the space's existence depends on.

Switching between spaces

Use the space switcher to move between your Personal space and any Shared Spaces you're part of. Areas, tasks, habits, and notes are all scoped to whichever space you're currently viewing.
