Notifications and reminders

Producky can send push notifications to your browser or device, and separately keeps an in-app notification bell for account and space activity. Settings → Notifications has five toggles.

Push notifications

• Daily reminder — one nudge each morning
• Streak alerts — one evening check-in before a streak breaks
• Task due reminders — a morning digest of what's due, and an evening digest of what's still open
• Event reminders — the morning digest includes a count of today's events

Turning any of these on for the first time prompts your browser for notification permission.

Per-task reminders

These five toggles are account-wide digests and nudges. Separately, any individual task with a due date and time can get its own exact-time reminder — at due time, or 5 minutes to a day before — set right on the task itself, not in Settings. See Managing tasks for how to set one.

Weekly report

A separate, email-only toggle: an email summary of your week — completed tasks and habit check-ins, best streak — sent every Monday. No browser permission needed since it's delivered by email, not push.

The notification bell

Separately from push, the bell in the app always shows space-related activity — invites, someone accepting or declining, being removed from a space, or a role change — so you won't miss those even with push notifications off.

Turning notifications off

Switch a toggle off in Settings to stop that type of push notification. If you turn all of them off, Producky unsubscribes your browser from push entirely.
