Quick capture: get it out of your head fast
The fastest way to add a task, habit, or note without breaking your flow.
Quick capture is the orange + button that's always available in the app. It opens a single input where you can jot something down and immediately file it as a task, habit, or note — without navigating away from whatever you were doing.
How it works
Type what's on your mind, choose whether it's a task, habit, or note, and optionally set an area and priority. Producky creates it in the background and you're back to what you were doing.
It understands dates
For tasks and events, quick capture reads dates and times right out of what you type. Write "call the dentist tomorrow at 3pm" and it suggests tomorrow, 3pm as the due date — accept it with one tap and it strips the date phrase out of the title for you.
Quick capture respects the same Free-plan limits as the dedicated Tasks and Habits screens — if you're at your cap, capture will ask you to upgrade or clear some space rather than letting you go over.
Tips
- You don't have to pick an area right away — you can re-file it later.
